Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 27, 2008 as Christie Lake Conservation Area hosts Reflections on Water – Evening Spectacular – a unique celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the Hamilton Conservation Authority. This special event will be like no other you’ve attended, with Steve Smith as Evening Ambassador, fireworks, a live band, an organic menu, red carpet and much more, all taking place within the beautiful natural setting of Christie Lake Conservation Area. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the HCA and its rich history through entertainment and many spectacular visuals while relaxing and enjoying this evening to remember. - 11th Annual Lake To Lake Classic
June 2009
The Lake To Lake Classic is a 50 km mountain bike event with riders travelling along Niagara's Welland Canal trails. The route offers many challenging sections that serious competetors will enjoy, and takes participants past local histoical sites. The "Pond to Pond" Challenge, a 20 km route from Brock University to the finish line in Port Dalhousie, will take place.
