  • The Grimsby Festival of Art is a one day celebration of over 100 fine artists and artisans from the Niagara Region and beyond who exhibit and sell original, handmade creations. It is one of Niagara's premiere juried art events. Funds raised by the Festival are used to support the work of Community Living - Grimsby, Lincoln & West Lincoln and the Rotary Club of Grimsby. The festival takes place on the street of Nelles Boulevard in Grimsby and in front of the Seniors Centre on Livingston Ave. Children 12 and under are free.

  • Support the Troops Aviation Day August 27, 2008

  • On August 27th, 2008 the Niagara Central Airport in Pelham will be hosting an Aviation Day. The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will perform their aerial acrobatics directly over the airport. In addition a CF – 18 Hornet is planned to perform a fly-by, piloted by a former student of the Niagara Central Airport. A WWII Lancaster from the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum will follow. On the ground, vintage aircraft will be on display, with some warbirds offering rides. No entrance fee with proceeds from a parking donation will be donated to local charity. The theme of the day will be, 'Support the Troops', and will honour the men and women from the Armed Forces from both sides of the border. Come out and show your support for the veterans who have served their country, or are currently engaged in this noble pursuit.
